Le Cafe Petit on O’Sullivan Street

This is the second Book I wrote and Illustrated.
Before we had children and the resulting lack of money that comes with that, my wife and I used to go to a cafe every Saturday morning and have breakfast. There was a father who used to come in with his daughter at a bout the same time every weekend too – so I wrote this for the fathers in the world because there’s something about a father and daughter relationship that only they can understand.
And people would stream in and out in a cyclical wave of life. It was fascinating to watch and be part of.
I also believe there’s much more to NZ culture than just rugby and sheep farming and kiwi birds!
