Don’t Worry Nana, I’ll Drive!

This is the first book I wrote AND illustrated.
It’s interesting in to look at in hindsight. It was not intended to be a read aloud to your kids story, but more of a book for kids to look at and explore in their own time. I hoped they would enjoy the pictures and discover what the story was about as they went.
It’s based on my own Mother who is often seen playing with her grandchildren in what ever adventure they choose to lead her on. She is very accommodating and lets them take charge. It’s also a subtle message about making do with what you have. That real fun is created. You do not need fancy toys, you only need a vivid imagination and someone to share the adventure with.
